Fridge-Mate II operates on 12 or 24 volts battery and it doubles as a refrigerator and a freezer. It can even make ice. The Fridge-Mate uses a lightweight microprocessor to produce energy-efficient refrigeration. Unlike the older portable coolers, Fridge-Mate employs compressor-based technology to lower internal temperature. This cooling operation is produced by a micro-compressor that is specifically designed for a long service life in rugged condition.
The Fridge-Mate II's compressor and electronics are housed in its lid. A knob is available for selecting from among its 6 temperature settings: Economy Fridge, Normal Fridge, Cold Fridge, Economy Freeze, Normal Freeze, and Maximum Freeze. Fridge-Mate maintains freezing temperature even when outside temperature is 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
MF30 has 0.8 cubic feet (28 quarts) capacity, while MF40 has 1.3 cubic feet (39 quarts) capacity. Click here to see an example of what you might fit in the MF40.
Fridge-Mate II comes equipped with a standard cigarette lighter plugs and automatically adjusts for 12 or 24 volts. Fridge-Mate II incorporates a battery guard that switches itself off when you battery voltage gets low. You can also choose between optional 110~240 volts auto-switch or the single phase 110 volts AC adaptor (available at cost listed below).
